About the orphanage:
A Haitian pastor and his wife run this orphanage which is located in Petionville, Haiti. Petionville is a beautiful mountainous area with incredible views and, sadly, now thousands of people living in the city now in tents. At last count, there were 120 kids ages 3-17 living in the orphanage; including several who lost parents or family members in the earthquake. 30 children sleep on the floor. There’s a new addition to accommodate children who came to the orphanage after the quake which is located on the back of the orphanage. There are roughly 18 girls sleeping on cinderblocks and plywood in that room. Also the orphanage has a few shanties in the front of the orphanage. They put a bunch of babies in one crib because they only have 1 mattress.
