Do you know the story of how our work in Gulu began? We were contacted in March of this year by an organization who told us about a fire that took away 10 huts in Gulu. Their need was for 4 things: money for new huts, clothes, food and beds. Being the world's premier organization for providing beds and bedding to orphanages, we let them know we would be able to meet that need. In order to do so, we issued an appeal on Sweet Sleep's facebook cause and were able to provide the children with new beds.
There's more to say, but this is a good start. Here are some pictures of the kids getting their new beds....and in their new clothes!
