Tonight is our last night serving the Lord here in Gulu
Uganda. It has been a wonderful 6
days here working with Sweet Sleep to distribute 1301 beds, nets and bibles to
kids with HIV/AIDS. This week was
also a blessing because we were able to distribute an additional 568 nets to
children that came out to see what we were doing. This was a wonderful development because these children are
registered with Health Alert Uganda and will now receive the ARV drugs that
they need to stay healthy. The
beds and time spent will now change the lives of not only the 1301 children
that now have beds but also the new 568 that will receive beds in the summer
and are now sleeping safely tonight from mosquitos and malaria. I will be
reflecting on the faces of all the children and their caregivers in the days,
weeks, and months to come. What a
wonderful experience this journey has been!! It has been a great experience
working for the Lord this week! Please
pray for the continued work here with the children and their caregivers. The blessing is not only for the
children but for us on the team for the experience of serving this week. We are walking in a beautiful land in
the will of God serving the children.
